May 3, 2003: Manila

This is Little Oliver's cousin who's Family runs the water & cigarette stand on Roxas Blvd. up by the Naval Station, and everyday I'd take a walk to see them & patronise the Family business.
read my earlier post on Oliver's Family

I nicknamed her 'green girl' and her & her cousins & brothers would always run over to greet me when they saw me comming, and GreenGirl was always the most photogenic of the bunch...always happy & smiling....always wearing something green it seemed.

They lived with Oliver's Family at the back of the parking lot there, sleeping in a jeep.

This is absolutely one of my favorite photographs from my second trip to Manila in 2003.
