Helping a Cebu infant

April 26, 2004: Cebu Philippines
Camera: Olympus E10 digital SLR

A simple image I really like; this little girl is about 3 weeks old in the picture - I knew her Parents were very poor, so while I was in Cebu at that time I began helping the them with baby formula & diapers they greatly needed - I wish I could have been able to do more, but I did what I could.

A simple large cloth is strung & knotted in order to make a bed for the baby...she sleeps there & can be rocked like in a traditional piece of baby furniture; it's common among simple Families there.
