Baby's first post & image are here

Jimmy's Family's been on my mind lately - I want to see him when I get to Cebu later this month & get his Family some necessities; it disturbs me when such a hard working guy with such a positive disposition is so poor & out of work, that there's not much to eat besides rice, and an occasional native chicken (very tough meat to eat, but that's native chicken)

Jimmy's trying to raise the chickens on his small lot, but often times when there's no money for rice, it also means there's no money to keep the hens fed.

Here's his daughter Baby - I've been working on a few new images of her gentle face.

Thanks for reading today - Good Tuesday Morning to you all.

ps: Holy Week has arrived on the Island - the week where the entire nation travels & beautiful places like Bantayan Island get horribly over-crowded, prices skyrocket, and it makes it difficult for locals here to go about their daily routines cause of the hoards of people everywhere, and shortages/gouge pricing on simple things like gasoline, dry goods, bottled water, etc.

Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun are said to be the worst days to be here because of the massive congestion (crowds are arriving now en-mass) a real shame for this beautiful & tiny Island to be over run like this, but that's Holy Week in Philippines I gather - so I'll do my best to try to get here to post updates & images, but I'll have to play it by ear and see if it's even feasable to drive my motorcycle into town on those days, as most roads in town are closed to vehicles of any kind.
