Tropical Storm Rammasun is here
Typhoon2000.com and all the news services are now reporting the active Cyclone Tropical Storm Rammasun is gaining strength and heading for Cebu/The Visayas.
"The storm is expected to gain in strength and turn into a typhoon tomorrow with sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour." Bloomberg

Kevin Weir called me yesterday from Cebu and has postponed his trip here with the kids; he reported the wind & rain in Cebu City was already there, and it's been raining here on & off as well as through the night.
I was planning on photographing the event here the Cebu Governor is attending this weekend; I'm not sure if the event will go or get re-scheduled, but unless the Governor travels here via helicopter before the storm hits as she sometimes does, there doesn't seem to be many other options open.
